Using online services makes it more convenient for people at our practice, as there’s no need to make a phone call or visit us. Computer, smartphone or tablet users can make or cancel GP, asthma, diabetic checks and blood test appointments at a time that suits them, even when the practice is closed.
If you are not already registered for GP online services, please pop in and ask the Receptionist for a form to sign up for online services. Hand the completed form back to the Reception team and they will give you your username and password, so that you start booking appointments.
Once registered for this service, you can download the SystmOnline - patient health management APP By TPP available on the App store or Google Play.
At busier times, especially when there is a bank holiday, you may find that there are little or no appointments available to book online. New appointments appear every morning and cancellations will show up at random, so do keep looking. Alternatively drop in to the Practice or telephone to find out if there are any slots to book that aren't available online.
Routine appointments are made with the reception staff either by telephone or by calling in at the surgery. Each appointment with the GP is for 10 minutes.
All appointments booked with the GP are for one person. Please book a separate appointment for each member of the family who needs to be seen.
If you have more than one problem to discuss it may be appropriate to ask for a longer appointment, please discuss this with the receptionist at the time of booking.
As a training practice a trainee doctor/student may be present during your consultation.
Please inform the receptionist if you do not wish to have someone else present during your consultation with the doctor or nurse.
Please remember to always let us know if you do not need or are unable to keep any appointment you make. We can then offer this to other patients needing to be seen.
