We are now required to inform all of our patients the name of their named accountable GP.  At the Barcroft this will be the GP with whom the patient is registered.

This is a national initiative from NHS England and we as a practice do not anticipate this changing how we deliver your healthcare.

Although your registered GP will have overall responsibility for coordinating the care and support that our surgery provides to you, there will be times when this particular GP will not be available and you may need to see one of our other doctors. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you currently do. If you reside in a nursing home your care will be continue to be delivered by the regular visiting GP.  You do not need to take any further action.
